¹² She had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and above the gates twelve angels. On the gates were inscribed the names of the twelve tribes of Bnei-Yisrael— ¹³ three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. ^{[a] 14} And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve emissaries of the Lamb.
